Bernetta graduated from the Denver School of Massage Therapy. She discovered massage therapy after a debilitating car accident. She fell in love with the modalities that restructure the muscles and have the ability to relieve years of trauma. Her specialties include deep tissue, myofascial release, structural, injury treatment (especially frozen shoulder), and post-surgery massage. She also does cranialsacral therapy, reflexology, cupping, and prenatal massage. Bernetta is also an anatomy nerd and is constantly adding to her knowledge of the human body.
Bernetta started a self-study program on the nervous system and the muscles that impinge nervous tissue, and this increased knowledge has been instrumental in decreasing pain for hundreds of her clients. She has a quality of touch that is hard to duplicate. She likes to say, “It may not be the most comfortable time you spend with a massage therapist, but you WILL feel better in the long run.” She brings multiple years of experience to the team and absolutely loves her career as an LMT.
