Renew Massage Studio’s COVID-19 Response
An overview of our preparations for the coronavirus
We wanted to reach out to our clients and address any potential concerns about the coronavirus (COVID-19). As a matter of regular practice, we already strive to keep Renew Massage Studio a clean and sanitary space. As such, the procedures recommended by the CDC (Center for Disease Control) to maintain a healthy environment were already a part of our day-to-day operation. Some of these include cleaning and disinfecting regularly used objects and the washing of hands. We have a daily cleaning schedule and our therapists always wash their hands before and after treating clients. Having said that, we will be increasing the frequency of cleaning, especially on door handles and other surfaces people frequently touch.
Another important way of minimizing the risk to others is to stay at home if you think you are sick. We currently recommend this to our clients, but it is especially important now. Our policy is that we will not charge you if you cancel due to illness. Massage requires close contact, so our goal with this policy is to avoid spreading diseases or putting anyone at risk of being near someone who is contagious. With that in mind, we will continue to enforce our policy of not treating anyone who we think is sick. As with our clients, our therapists also know they should stay home if they are sick. In the event your scheduled therapist is not available for your session we will try to find a replacement. If one is not available, or you prefer to be treated by your favorite therapist, we will reschedule for a future date at no charge.
Overall, we want you to be confident in continuing to utilize our services as you seek to fulfill your health-related and therapeutic goals. We would also like to remind you that some of the services we offer help to boost your immune system such as our infrared sauna, cupping, acupuncture, and the benefits of destressing that come from a therapeutic massage. We hope you stay healthy as winter draws to a close and spring begins and we also hope to see you soon. Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns.
